The first Friday Market of the school year will be held on September 8 from 3:12-3:45 p.m., hosted by the Guild. The schedule for the year is almost complete and will be shared with teachers and class reps soon.
Friday Market is a fun weekly tradition that allows each grade level to take turns selling snacks and crafts (cash only). The classes get to keep any money raised as a fundraiser for field trips, supplies or any other needs. Nutrition guidelines and more details can be found here. It’s a fun chance to connect with other families, even if you don’t spend any money! There is also usually a clothing swap on the lawn.
VOLUNTEER NEED: We are seeking Friday Market Coordinators! This is a volunteer role that supports the market each week.
It consists of:
Being on site from 2:30-4:00 p.m. on select Fridays (once or twice a month).
Learning how to use the popcorn and snow cone machines so that you can show each week's volunteers how to do it.
Generally being available to assist that week's volunteers with setting up, selling, refilling, etc.
