Yearly Paperwork: What’s Due When (and how to do it!)

As usual, the beginning of the school year includes update paperwork. This year, as SCUSD continues to move toward paperless-ness (or, at least, using less paper), you’ll see requests for both hard copy and electronic info. Here’s the skinny:

1. Students brought home First Day Paperwork packets last week. This is includes emergency cards, photo releases, permission to use the school’s library, and cell phone policy/ student and parent commitment to learning agreements. These were due last FRIDAY, AUG. 23. If you have not completed and returned this paperwork yet, please do so ASAP.

   
   

2. Annual Update Paperwork will be completed electronically via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.* If you have not yet set this up your Parent Portal, email rachel-green@scusd.edu for an access code.

   *Pro tip: the site says you can complete the updates on your phone, but having completed it for my two students, I’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible (especially if your student has additional documentation, e.g. IEP, medical conditions, medications to be administered at school, etc.)

   
   

3. LCFF forms, which help secure funding for our school, are found here: https://scusd.rocketscanapps.com/default.aspx Only one form needs to be completed per family and this one is very quick to complete. No special login is required. Due October 31, 2024.
